Sensors

Water Meter

Wide clearances in the measuring chamber and negligible area of contact between static and moving parts are the key reasons for the high reliability of this design even in hard water.

  • The only moving part, the impeller, is in contact with the water for minimum wear and highest reliability
  • Magnetically driven sealed registers
  • Stainless steel/glass encapsulated option is unconditionally guaranteed against fogging

Sensors

Temperature Sensor

ROTEM Temperature Sensor provides accurate temperature data. Temperature sensors provide data used in a variety of controller functions. They operate from -60° to +160° C, are accurate to 0.3%, and have an extremely long lifespan.

  • Accurate data
  • Easy to install
  • Long life

Sensors

Humidity Sensor

The sensor is designed so that the sensing tip can be easily replaced if the need arises; there is no need to replace the entire unit. The RHS+ can be quickly and easily taken apart, enabling you to remove the unit when you wash down the farm house. The unit's male-female connector can be taken apart in seconds.

  • Simple installation: Connect to controller and hang
  • Almost no maintenance
  • Easy to use male-female connectors enables quick removal of the unit
  • Extremely accurate

Sensors

CO₂ Sensor

Just connect the sensor to a controller and ventilation is triggered when the measured CO2 level falls outside the user-determined parameters. The CO2 Sensor requires little or no maintenance. *Range: 0 - 5000 PPM *Accurate to +/- 3% *Data is transmitted using a 4 - 20 mA output

  • Self-contained environment and impact-resistant sealed box
  • Quick open clasps
  • Easy installation
  • Simple to connect and configure
  • Continuous uninterrupted CO₂ sensing
  • Diagnostic LEDs

Controllers and automation accessories

Light Dimmer

ROTEM's light dimmers enable control over various types of lamps, including incandescent, cold cathode, CFL, and LED bulbs. These controls feature an advanced electronic package, and two channels, and can be managed directly by the controller.

Along with the Dimmer's advanced electronic circuits, the Light Dimmer's software package provides superior performance & functionality, enabling high caliber control & stable dimming capability.

  • Automatic and manual brightness control provides lighting only when required
  • Key hole mounting simplifies installation
  • Rugged terminals, water tight seals for power cables meet rigorous poultry house conditions
  • Automatic settings recovery after power failure ensures continuity
  • Two independent channels
  • Programmable brightness control by analog signal 0-10 VDC or by communication line

Controllers and automation accessories

RSU-2 / HUB-4

Remote Scale Unit (RSU-2) enables ROTEM's controllers to remotely manage and control scale and feed bin weighing and calibration, while also displaying the weight at the scale location. The HUB enables connecting devices to a controller in a star configuration.

The RSU-2 ensures noise-resistant, highly accurate data over RS-485 infrastructures. The HUB supports Platinum Family controllers, RSU-2 units, and RDT-5s.

  • Each HUB supports 4 daisy chains.
  • Each chain supports up to 32 remotes (128 total)

Controllers and automation accessories

Ammonia Sensor

The Ammonia Sensor enables continuous, long term ammonia measurement. The sensor works with the Platinum Pro/Touch, Rotem Pro/One, and Trio Controllers, delivering real time data via a constant 0 - 10V output signal.

  • Hanger clip for simple placement in the house
  • Status LED indicates the device-operating mode
  • Dedicated ventilation program for treating high ammonia levels
  • Changes in temperature or humidity do not effect the sensor
  • Real time monitoring enables more efficient climate control as well as preventing ammonia build up
  • Simple installation and easy removal when cleaning your animal or poultry house

Controllers and automation accessories

Silo Scale - RJB Junction Box

The RJB is used to connect up to eight load cells to the Silo Weighing Controller (RSW-2) or to the Platinum and Trio Poultry Controllers (if the controllers are equipped with a silo weighing card).
